"I started my internship at Thomson Reuters in 2009 and have been here ever since! The internship provided me first-hand experience of the company culture and a real life understanding of what #WorkingAtTR is like, including the endless opportunities to grow my career. The internship solidified my decision that this was where I wanted to begin my career - and since has offered me opportunities to work in different parts of the organization, travel internationally to other offices, and eventually relocate from Minnesota to Connecticut as a part of a job rotation. When I was looking to begin my career, the support Thomson Reuters provided to be successful, develop new skill-sets, and grow my career was invaluable. It was the people and culture that matter most and what has kept me here for 11+ years!" #BeYouAtTR #NationalInternDay Meet Megan, Senior Director, Finance
"I’ve worked at Thomson Reuters for three years and have experienced appreciation and advancement in my Talent Acquisition career. I’m an advocate for #hiring interns and new grads, as they are the building blocks of our future. Students and interns continually amaze me with their skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to make an impact. The impact of young talent will be monumental to Thomson Reuters’ success for years to come. To some, TR might seem formal, but it is a company that encourages employees to be their authentic self every day in the (virtual) office. TR cares about their employees, which I personally experienced with the flexibility to work from India during the pandemic. As the borders closed and my family couldn't visit me in Canada, I was able to be with my family during these difficult times, and I couldn't be more thankful to TR." #BeYouAtTR Meet Suneet, Technical Recruiting Lead, Toronto #WorkingAtTR
"I have been working in business systems at Thomson Reuters for seven years. In addition, I recently stepped into the Pride at Work business resource group co-chair role in Brazil where I lead and contribute to exciting and meaningful work focused on LGBT+ inclusion and allyship. To celebrate Pride this year, I wanted to do something more than attend events and post on social media. I wanted to do something really special to encourage inclusivity. I thought, ‘Why not talk in a way that is clear for everyone? Can I explain inclusion in a simple way?’ So, I wrote a short digital book with simple language that a child can understand; and will send as a gift to colleagues in Brazil for Pride Day. It is a small step, but is my way to help my Thomson Reuters community." #BeYouAtTR Meet Cristiano, Diretor de Processos de Negocio, Sao Paulo #WorkingAtTR

Our employees are spending time reflecting, learning, and celebrating today, including company-hosted discussions and commemorations. Yesterday we shared that from today onwards, at Thomson Reuters #Juneteenth will be a national holiday for all US employees
"As an African American female, wife, mother, and servant leader, I have a passion for human rights and social justice. I seek a just and equitable society based on mutual trust and respect and I continue to be a champion for inclusion. This Juneteenth, I will be celebrating both at work and with friends and family. At Thomson Reuters, we will be taking part in a day of learning and celebration – in addition to offering US employees with a day off in recognition of Juneteenth. On Saturday, I will be joining my neighbors at a community celebration complete with storytelling, music, and soul food." #BeYouAtTR Meet Sharon, Vice President Partnerships & Alliances, Government, Minneapolis #WorkingAtTR
"As a gay, cisgender man, it's interesting to look at PRIDE month and reflect on what it means to me. My sexuality is part of me; it doesn't define who I am, but is certainly a fundamental part. As a journalist for Openly, I am proud to cover the underreported stories from around the world affecting the LGBT+ community." #BeYouAtTR Meet Hugo, LGBT+ Editor, Thomson Reuters Foundation, London #WorkingAtTR

"Born and raised in China, I moved to New York as a first-generation immigrant. I’m proud of my identity and hope that people will learn more about the rich history of Asian countries, and the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) history in the US. Asia is a vibrant region that is reshaping the future of our global economy. We can all do our part by learning and being an ally to the AAPI community. We recently had a CEO listening session with senior leadership where the members of our Asian Affinity Network (AAN) shared powerful personal stories about the rise of anti-Asian violence and the underrepresentation of Asian employees in leadership positions. Our leaders showed their commitment to diversity and inclusion starting with the CEO listening sessions, and reacting with strong support and immediate action. We appreciate the forum to make our voices heard. As Tom Kim, AAN Executive Sponsor wrote: “We belong here and we have a voice." #BeYouAtTR Meet Hannah, Senior Manager, Business Development and Strategy, NY #WorkingAtTR
"What I appreciate about our work culture is the respect and commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of employees. Playing the piano and composing music improves my mental health and allows me to work with vitality. It can be difficult balancing my professional life with being a musician, but my career at Thomson Reuters gives me the work-life flexibility I need to pursue my interests which ultimately improves my overall wellbeing. More than that, I feel supported as the unique individual I am inside and outside of the (virtual) office." #BeYouAtTR Meet Kaoru, Proposition Lead - OneSource Global Trade, Tokyo #WorkingAtTR
